You simply keep the GPS dog collar on your dog and keep the receiver unit in your pocket, and you will be able to track down your dog. Cat owners are hopeful that a small enough unit will become available for a GPS cat collar to appear on the market soon, but right now the GPS dog collar is too heavy to be used on a cat.
