TomTom GPS
Up and coming on the GPS market is TomTom GPS. Tomtom has a nice interface and is a very user-friendly GPS unit which has a clear dispay. Many people prefer Tom Tom to any other brand of auto GPS for these reasons alone, not to mention a lower price.

The displays on Tom Tom GPS units are quite nice, as the colors do not shift from any normal viewing angle. The display is plenty bright so that it will not wash out very much in direct sunlight. It is only three clicks to switch from day to night mode or back. Each mode also has its own brightness control. Now that is fine tuning at its best! Many competitor models do not have that feature. There are also ten different color theme to select from if you don’t like the default colors.
